From Sister Carlotta Armstrong, President of Duhart-Clark Women’s Missionary Society
I want to inform you that St. Paul AME gave an extremely large donation of food to the Interfaith Council to assist in feeding the Hungry. Also, we gave a huge donation of cleaning supplies to Church Women United to help the migrant workers in the East. This was done on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. As you know, St. Paul is known for its outreach efforts and we are grateful that God allows us to be a blessing to others. Many thanks to our church.
Would you like to honor someone on their birthday or the memory of a friend or relative? You can do so by sponsoring the pulpit flowers on a selected Sunday. The cost is $55. Please provide check and wording to Mrs. Gentry at least two weeks before the Sunday on which you would like the person(s) honored.

We need to raise our financial goal. If you are not comfortable sending donations online feel free to send donation to St. Paul for Sister Sharon. The Department of Christian Education would like for each member of St. Paul to take home a copy of the publication Liberation and Unity, published by the Christian Education Department of the AMEC, written to be used as a Lenten daily devotional. All members are encouraged to use it as a guide for meditation and action during the season of Lent. The books will be available on a first come basis until they run out. A good time to begin your reading is Ash Wednesday. We pray that this guide will strengthen you as you fast, sacrifice and pray during the season.
5K hats and headbands are for sale! Great for gym, exercise class, for birthday, early Christmas gifts , makes a great St. Paul conversation start up! Please Sister Carol Deese for yours.
