The Planning Committee for the St. Paul Village Community Walk and 5K Run presented checks to two nonprofits – Orange County Meal on Wheels and Charles House Eldercare were each given a check for $1,100 and the Neighborhood Improvement Development Association received a check for $10,000.
The 12th annual St. Paul Village Community Walk & 5K Run will be held at McDougle Middle School in Chapel Hill, NC on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024. Starting at 9am. St. Paul Village will be a multi-use development that will be located in the historic Rogers Road Neighborhood.
Early-Bird registration is $25/individual and $45/family (2 adults, first child free and $5 for each additional child). Early-Bird special ends on February 1st and then prices will increase by $5. Every paid entrant will receive a free t-shirt.
This event features electronic timing by Cardinal Track Services, an awards ceremony with medals and monies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall winners in female and male categories, prizes for each age group, and a family friendly atmosphere. As a tithing church, St. Paul will donate 10% of the net proceeds to two worthy local causes: Charles Eldercare House and Meals on Wheels, Orange County.
