09/29/2024 Newsletter There will be an exhibit of art created by St. Paul members on Sunday, October 20 and Monday, October 21 at Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church. Members who wish to have items displayed should contact Rev. Mary Jane Palmer or Arminta Foushee by August 31. All questions should be directed to one of them.

St. Paul Members and Friends remember to send your tithes, offerings, capital campaign donations and missionary donations. You can donate by using Givelify, by US mail to St. Paul or take to St. Paul and drop-in mail slot. Donations to our St. Paul Village should made to the Neighborhood Improvement Development Association, Inc. (NIDA). St. Paul is conducting a CANNED SOUP FOOD DRIVE for IFC from Sunday, September 8th through Sunday, October 13th. Any variety of Canned Soup are appreciated. As the school year ends and the summer begins, the Women of St.
Paul are conducting a FOOD DRIVE for TABLE, Inc. As of July 21, 150 items had been donated. The Food Drive has been extended until Sunday, August 4. Please bring one-pound bags of rice and one-pound bags of dried beans to be donated. TABLE now feeds more than 1000 children in Chapel Hill – Carrboro every week! Please provide check and wording to Mrs. Gentry at least two weeks before the Sunday on which you would like the person(s) honored.

The Missionary Society and the Women’s Ministry of St. Paul AME Church are collecting toiletry items for the Orange County Local Reentry Council. The Local Reentry Council’s purpose is to coordinate resources in the community in an effort to provide assistance for returning individuals and their families that will facilitate a successful transition from incarceration back into society or help reduce barriers that are faced by those who have been justice-involved. We are collecting the following toiletries:
1. Soap
2. Toothpaste
3. Toothbrushes
4. Brushes/combs
5. Lotion
6. Pens
7. Deodorant
8. Socks
9. Notecards
10. Phone cards
