11/26/23 Newsletter ![]() The Choir has started rehearsing for the Christmas Cantata to be held on Sunday, December 17 at 4:00 p.m. The Theme is “Come Thine Almighty God.” . Persons interested in singing, serving as narrator, being an usher or volunteer for other tasks should contact a member of the choir for more information.

Congratulations to Joi Ponder on winning the Western North Carolina Dorcas Queen Crown. She is now running for the Second Episcopal District crown. Donations are being accepted until December 1 to assist her in winning the crown. Checks should be made payable to “St. Paul AMEC’ and put Dorcas in the memo line.

Would you like to honor someone on their birthday or the memory of a friend or relative? You can do so by sponsoring the pulpit flowers on a selected Sunday. The cost is $55. The Women’s Ministry of St Paul would like to thank all who donated bags of rice and beans to TABLE! We collected and delivered 221 bags! This wonderful donation will aid in eliminating childhood hunger in our community!

The Missionary Society and the Women’s Ministry of St. Paul AME Church are collecting toiletry items for the Orange County Local Reentry Council. The Local Reentry Council’s purpose is to coordinate resources in the community in an effort to provide assistance for returning individuals and their families that will facilitate a successful transition from incarceration back into society or help reduce barriers that are faced by those who have been justice-involved. We are collecting the following toiletries:
1. Soap
2. Toothpaste
3. Toothbrushes
4. Brushes/combs
5. Lotion
6. Pens
7. Deodorant
8. Socks
9. Notecards
10. Phone cards
