St Paul SISTERS IN SERVICE are having a food drive starting Sunday, SUPER BOWL SUNDAY, February 9th ending Sunday, March 16th. Please bring macaroni and cheese boxes to support TABLE,Inc. Thanks in advance for helping to alleviate childhood hunger in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Community.

St. Paul Members and Friends remember to send your tithes, offerings, capital campaign donations and missionary donations.  You can donate by using Givelify, by US mail to St. Paul or take to St. Paul and drop-in mail slot.  

Donations to our St. Paul Village should made to the Neighborhood Improvement Development Association, Inc. (NIDA).
Duhart Clark Women’s Missionary Society is presently collecting school supplies for Northside Elementary School. Members will be collecting school supplies during the month of January. Feel free to donate. For more information contact Bettina Shuford, DCWMS President.

PULPIT FLOWERS
Would you like to honor someone on their birthday or the memory of a friend or relative? You can do so by sponsoring the pulpit flowers on a selected Sunday.  The cost is $55. Please provide check and wording to Mrs. Gentry at least two weeks before the Sunday on which you would like the person(s) honored. 
​5K T-SHIRTS
There are still some t-shirts available from this year’s and last year’s 5K.
They are in various sizes, long and short sleeves. They are $5 each. Proceeds
go to St. Paul Village. Please contact Anissa McLendon.

       From the Rock Wall: Living Histories of Black Chapel Hill/Carrboro
Several members of the St. Paul Church Family are in the interviews such as Sister Velma Perry (see above). We all miss “Ms. Velma” but can still listen to her and learn!   https://fromtherockwall.org
The Missionary Society and the Women’s Ministry of St. Paul AME Church are collecting toiletry items for the Orange County Local Reentry Council. The Local Reentry Council’s purpose is to coordinate resources in the community in an effort to provide assistance for returning individuals and their families that will facilitate a successful transition from incarceration back into society or help reduce barriers that are faced by those who have been justice-involved. We are collecting the following toiletries:
1. Soap
2. Toothpaste
3. Toothbrushes
4. Brushes/combs
5. Lotion
6. Pens
7. Deodorant
8. Socks
9. Notecards
10. Phone cards
We are collecting on Saturdays at 10:00 am and Sundays at church. Thank you in advance for your help. Please contact the church at (919) 967-3961 or Sister Joal Broun at (919) 357-3647.
